Welcome to Sunday's Whirligig, a place for you and your muse to find inspiration, while The Sunday Whirl is on hiatus. Each Wednesday I will post 12 words with which you may create a poem, a short story, or some other piece of writing.

You may link your writing to this site beginning at midnight (Pacific Time) each Sunday. Please do NOT leave your link in the comments, but use the linking button, which will "magically" appear at midnight (Pacific Time) Sunday. The Inlinkz button will remain operable for two weeks. Enjoy!

If you'd like to contribute 12 words, please e-mail them to me: magicalmysticalteacher@gmail.com

THIS WEEK'S WORDS: southward, feeble, soil, hollow, purple, twenty, donkey, breath, leaning, mystic, pestilence, consolation

Words will be posted here each Wednesday. With apologies, I no longer have time to e-mail the words.

The magical link button is not working for me..Will try again tomorrow. Thanks for these words. I may be wrong but I felt you chose words intentionally to elicit a biblical response.Looking forward to seeing what the others come up with !
Thanks for the interesting words !

  6. I had written my piece and forgot to add the link.
There are also two more new additions to the Sheila story since this post.
There is a link in my post to the page where the story segment links are.
I use whatever prompts fit to continue.
I do hope that each piece can be read on its own.
